VoiceMail features

Call Forwarding: If your line is busy, or callers receive no reply, the VoiceMail will play your recorded message for callers, and all messages will be forwarded and recorded in your mailbox. Later on you can retrieve your message from any telephone from anywhere in the world.

From 12th January 2004, if you forward a telephone call to either Batelco fixed, mobile, voicemail or any other operator, you will now be charged for the "forwarded" part of the call at prevailing calling rates.

For example, in the scenario below you will now be charged for the call from your number to the forwarded number.

Customers with permanent call forwarding from fixed lines (operator Set) should note that charges will also apply here, but should they wish to cancel this facility then they should call 17 88 11 11. If you are unclear about your circumstances, or need further information about these changes, please call 17 88 11 11.

Privacy & Security: No one else but you can have access to your VoiceMail mailbox as, access is controlled by the PIN.

Advanced Listening Features: When listening to your messages, you can skip to the next message, reply to a message, return to the previous message in the mailbox. and more.

Immediate Notification: With message notification, you will be immediately notified via your pager, mobile or any specified telephone number of the receipt of new messages in your Voice Mailbox.

Voice Messages: You can record messages and send them to other mailbox owners around the world. Moreover you can broadcast it to multiple destinations, at whatever time you choose - ideal when you’re doing business in different time zone

A call answering Mailbox is provided at monthly rental charge of BD 1.000 Normal telephone call rates are applied for calls from and to the mailbox.
