The Reference Offer (RO), which has been prepared in accordance with Decree No. 48 of 2002 promulgating the Telecom Law, forms the basis of commercial interconnection agreement between BATELCO and providers of publicly available communication networks.

Subject to Bahrain Telecom law and without prejudice to any existing interconnection agreements, BATELCO reserves the right to amend this Offer every six months

Notice for licensees:

The following sections of the Reference Offer and Schedules have been updated and amended to comply with the TRA's reference access order dated 12 July 2006 (the “Access Order”):

Service schedules:

2-1 PSTN Transit,
2-4 Dial-up Internet Access,
2-5 Local Leased Circuit for OLO (LLCO),
2-6 Customer Access Tail (CAT),
2-9 Inter-Operator Transit Access Service,
2-10 International Private Leased Circuit (IPLC) Service,
2-11 Wholesale DSL Service,
2-12 Bitstream Service,
2-13 Carrier Pre-Select (CPS) Service.

Schedule 3 (Pricing)
Schedule 7 (Facilities Access)

Batelco has been forced to publish these modifications to comply with the Access Order but it is currently appealing the Access Order in arbitration proceedings (the “Arbitration”) on the following services:

2-6 CUSTOMER ACCESS TAIL (CAT) SERVICE
2-11 WHOLESALE DSL SERVICE
2-12 BITSTREAM SERVICE
2-13 CARRIER PRESELECTION ACCESS SERVICE

The prices, terms and conditions in these amendments may be subject to variation or removal depending on the decision that results from the Arbitration.
Batelco therefore qualifies its updated offer as being subject to the outcome of the Arbitration.
