2- Call Waiting
If you’re on the line and someone’s trying to get through, this handy service alerts you to the fact by a special tone.This way, you needn’t worry about missing important calls.
How to use Call Waiting:
- If you (A) are engaged in a telephonic conversation (B) and a second party (C) calls, a special tone will indicate the other caller is on the line.
- To put the first caller (B) on hold, and connect the second caller (C), Flash Hook then 2.
- To put the second caller (C) on hold and reconnect to the first (B), Flash Hook then 2. Steps 1 and 2 can be repeated.
- To disconnect the current party and reconnect the party on hold, Flash Hook then 1.

3- Conference Call

Call Forwarding on Busy**
When you’re busy dealing with an important call, incoming calls can be diverted to another phone.
**From 12th January 2004, if you forward a telephone call to either Batelco fixed, Mobile, voicemail or any other operator, you will now be charged for the "forwarded" part of the call at prevailing calling rates.
For example, in the scenario below you will now be charged for the call from your number to the forwarded number.

Customers with permanent call forwarding from fixed lines (operator Set) should note that charges will also apply here. but should they wish to cancel this facility then they should call 17 88 11 11. If you are unclear about your circumstances, or need further information about these changes, please call 196.

You can ensure that your outgoing calls are going where you want them to, by requesting one of the following Call Barring categories:
- National calls only
- ALL outgoing calls (national & international)
- International Direct Dialing Calls (IDD)
- Call made through operators (131, 151, 191)
International Direct Dialing and calls made through operators.
8- Fast line with time break
This labour-saving facility allows you to program your telephone to call a predetermined number by just lifting the handset.
