What is voicemail?
It is an innovative way to send and receive voice messages via a security coded Voice Mailbox, so that with just your telephone equipment, you will have the services of a sophisticated answering machine and more.
VoiceMail features
Call Forwarding: If your line is busy, or callers receive no reply, the VoiceMail will play your recorded message for callers, and all messages will be forwarded and recorded in your mailbox. Later on you can retrieve your message from any telephone from anywhere in the world.
From 12th January 2004, if you forward a telephone call to either Batelco fixed, mobile, voicemail or any other operator, you will now be charged for the "forwarded" part of the call at prevailing calling rates.
For example, in the scenario below you will now be charged for the call from your number to the forwarded number.

A call answering Mailbox is provided at monthly rental charge of BD 1.000 Normal telephone call rates are applied for calls from and to the mailbox.
