Short Messages Service Divert (SMS Divert)
Batelco is introducing new SMS service; SMS divert which will allow Batelco subscribers to divert/forward their SMS to another Batelco numbers.
- To Activate the Divert, send the following command to 5000: Divert <MSISDN>
- To Deactivate the Divert, send the following command to 5000: Divert off
- To Reactivate the Divert (to the last diverted number), send the following command to 5000: Divert on
- Divert can be done only between Batelco Mobile lines (Post-Paid and Pre-Paid)
- The charging criteria is the same as the voice calls divert and the charges based on the package (Normal SMS rates).
- One divert Only can be done; i.e.From A to B only (B should not be diverted to another number)
