Our Prepaid services give you the option to choose between four packages: SimSim, Simsim Cool, Simsim Home and Simsim Kids.
Upon purchasing your prepaid line, you are instantly on the SimSim package. You can change/upgrade your package to SimSim Cool, SimSim Home or SimSim Kids at any time by calling 196 or visiting any of the Batelco shops.

Change of Package

You can change your existing Prepaid Package to another Prepaid Package or to a Postpaid Package while keeping the same mobile number.

Status of SimSim accounts
|
SimSim account passes through different stages based on time validity, depending on the refill voucher used.
- Active stage:
The active stage is achieved when customer refill his/her account with any refill voucher.
During active stage, customers can:
· Receive incoming calls and SMS
· Make outgoing calls and SMS
· Forward incoming calls
· Make calls 111,196 and emergency services.
- Deactive Stage:
The deactive stage occurs after the elapse of the active stage for a period of 120 days. This stage is divided into two parts
• During the first 90 days of the deactive stage, customers can only receive calls, SMS and MMS. Customers can also refill their account with any voucher during this period. This stage is called the Grace Stage.
• During the following 30 days customers won’t be able to neither receive incoming calls or SMS, nor make outgoing calls or forward calls. However, they can make calls to 111 to refill the account, 196 and emergency services only.
- Expiry Stage:
The prepaid account will be cancelled in case customers don’t refill their account during the grace stage in the deactive stage.
Customers will also not be able to refill with any SimSim voucher, to use service again, customers have to buy a new SimSim card with a new number.
