The two Separate bills can be issued based on any combination of criteria according to your business needs. Some popular choices for split billing are as follows:
Business calls and personal calls – Allows you to distinguish between work-related calls and the employee’s personal calls. All the calls between your business mobile numbers will be billed to the company while all other non-business related calls will be billed to the employee.
Allowance Based – Many companies strive to increase their employee satisfaction by granting them a monthly mobile phone allowance. Calculating this for each employee can be time-consuming. You now have the option of having your bills split on an allowance basis, thus issuing one bill with the allowance amount to the company and another bill issued to the employee using the mobile with the remainder of the billed amount.
Type of Usage – Your company can have two separate bills based on the types of calls made and also by a specific limit per call type. For example, you may decide on allowing your employees unlimited use of local calls and SMS. In addition to those, you may want to add a call limit on international calls (e.g. BD20) and not bear any of the employee’s roaming charges. Anything else is to be billed to the employee.
